Software Updates
DayCare Information Systems PRO 2004 Series
The following updates are available for the DayCare Information Systems
PRO 2004 series software. To download these updates you will need the username and password
which was provided to you by SDS Software Solutions. Please
contact SDS Software Solutions if you are unable to
locate your username and password.

**IMPORTANT ** If
you are installing this update on a computer that has Windows Vista
installed on it, click HERE For more
information! These changes are needed because Vista will now enforce
different rules concerning our software since Vista now recognizes it as
a Vista application. |

Select The Software You Are A Registered Owner Of

When installing this update on Vista, you may need to perform the following
steps:
NOTE: If the version of the DayCare Information Systems PRO 2004 / LITE
software that you are upgrading is 4.03.00 or above, and you have already
performed these 10 steps - you will only need to perform steps 1 through
3.

Download the the appropriate update
above.

To install the upgrade you need to
run the update with Administrator privileges. To do this right click
on the file you downloaded above in step 1, and choose
Run
as administrator. If you do not run this update as administrator
you will receive an
error message like this, and the update will fail.

Once the Winzip Self Extractor has
loaded - click OK, and then click Unzip to install the update. Once
the update has installed you should receive a message saying 5 files have
been unzipped successfully. Click Close.

Start / Load the software you just
updated - depending on the software updated you will receive one of two
error windows. (If you are using the database server - you may not
receive these errors, and will not need to continue with these steps.)

If loading the DayCare software -
you most likely will
receive this error, and you need to click the "Launch Configuration
Utility".

If loading the SignIn Module you
may
receive this error - where you need to click the OK button.

Once you are in the Administration
Utility - you will need to click on the Use On Vista tab.

Click the SetUp / Move Data Files
To Vista Location.

Click the Open "My Computer" button
- this should open up a My Computer window.

Click the document graphic - to
open an Adobe PDF document describing the last step to be taken.
